The E&S Risk Management Toolkit is a user friendly tool to help EBRD partner FIs to meet the requirements of EBRD’s E&S Risk Management Procedures for Corporate Loans, SME Loans and Equity Investments. The toolkit is designed to be simple and effective to use and helps FIs screen transactions for E&S risks as well as to assess the effectiveness and adequacy of their client’s E&S risk management systems. The Toolkit automatically generates an E&S due diligence report.
The Sub-sectoral Environmental and Social Guidelines are designed to assist credit/investment officers in local financial institutions and other non-environmental experts. They help in identifying major environmental activity risks, important management actions, and the essentials of environmental and social due diligence in over 80 industry activities.
The guidelines are not part of the Bank's environmental and social procedures and are to be used for guidance only.
Our environmental and social performance requirements normally dictate that financial intermediaries report to us each year on their implementation of the performance requirements.
EBRD Financial Intermediary Sustainability Index
EBRD Financial Intermediary Sustainability Index (SI) has been designed to help EBRD’s partner Financial Institutions (FIs) understand how they are responding to sustainability issues and the extent to which they have implemented a systematic approach to managing sustainability issues. EBRD partner FIs can request access the Index by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
EBRD Responsible Investment (RI) Index
The RI is designed for EBRD’s Private Equity Fund partners to report to the Bank annually on their compliance with the Bank’s E&S requirements under PR9.
