The "Energy efficiency in public buildings of Sarajevo Canton" project is implemented by Sarajevo Canton with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Union (EU) and Austria. The project aims to retrofit and renovate 40 public buildings in Sarajevo, including kindergartens, high schools, student dormitories and health centres, to make them energy efficient. The first phase of the project is now complete, with 15 buildings successfully renovated.
