Request summary
On May 7th 2024, 25 residents of Grbalj, members of NVO Grbalj Bulevar, a registered organisation created to raise concerns regarding the Main Roads Reconstruction Project (49075) in Montenegro, submitted a Request to IPAM. The Requesters allege that the widening of the Tivat-Jaz boulevard will adversely impact their properties and local businesses. They claim a poor impact assessment that will lead to increased traffic, noise, and accidents. In addition, they allege poor stakeholder engagement.
The compliance assessment stage was launched in November 2024. However, due to caseload pressures, the Compliance team requires an extended timeframe beyond that prescribed by the PAP.
