What is the Evaluation Week?
Since 2024, the Independent Evaluation Department (IEvD) has been organising the EBRD Evaluation Week to showcase how evaluation, impact, and results management can contribute to greater impact for the private sector. It is an opportunity to engage with evaluation at the EBRD and beyond, including with representatives from the private sector and other multilateral development banks.
This year, Evaluation Week featured a distinguished lineup of speakers and panellists from the EBRD, World Bank Group, European Investment Bank (EIB), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and many more as well as exciting and rich discussions on topics, such as conflict and fragility, resilience, additionality, sustainable infrastructure. At the margins of the Evaluation Week, IEvD also hosted the OECD-DAC Evaluation Network Working Group on Conflict and Fragility on Monday, 2 March.
