Following the recent update of the electoral calendar, with presidential elections now due on 15 September and parliamentary elections on 6 October, the Tunisian authorities have expressed their preference for the EBRD to hold its Regional Business Forum for the southern and eastern Mediterranean - initially planned for 17 September - to be held outside of the electoral cycle, in order to allow the best focus on investment and business issues.
In that context and in agreement with the Government of Tunisia, the Bank has decided to reschedule its Regional Business Forum in Tunis to a later date. An update will follow shortly.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We look forward to seeing you in Tunis for our Regional Business Forum for the southern and eastern Mediterranean at a future date.
