The EBRD calls for Chernobyl support after Russia’s occupation
Damage will cost at least €100 million to repair.
Russia’s military occupation of Chernobyl has thrown into uncertainty decades of international cooperation in helping make safe the site of the world’s worst nuclear accident.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been at the forefront of remediation work at Chernobyl and is calling on international donors to help repair the damage resulting from Russia’s reckless actions.
