Two videos about the EBRD’s impact produced by the Bank’s Communications department have won top prizes in the AVA Digital Awards.

EBRD opens doors across three continents,’ premiered at the EBRD’s 2019 Annual Meeting and Business Forum in Sarajevo, was awarded a platinum prize in the Video Production, Long Form Video, Corporate Image category.

“These awards represent well deserved recognition of our hugely innovative video work,” said Jonathan Charles, EBRD Managing Director, Communications.

“The videos themselves do a brilliant job of conveying the excitement and impact of what we do across the EBRD regions.

“And they are also a tribute to the teamwork and support, not least from our donors and in particular from the European Union, that make our work possible.”

The AVA Digital Awards are an international competition, administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, which recognises excellence in digital communications.

The EBRD has previously won AVA awards for a video of ‘the best of the EBRD’, a VR 360 degree film about wind farm construction in Jordan and a video about Syrian refugees in the same country.
