Independent Evaluation supports Evidence for Climate Action at COP30

The EBRD Independent Evaluation Department (IEvD) is proud to support Evidence for Climate Action (E4CA) at COP30. E4CA will bring together the evaluation functions of multiple organizations to present the latest evidence on climate action. A series of in-person and virtual sessions will feature discussions on a range of key issues, from adaption and climate finance to forestry management and the role of Indigenous peoples and local communities.

What is Evidence for Climate Action (E4CA)?

E4CA is a global platform for sharing the latest collective evidence on climate action from over 20 organizations. With accelerating implementation at the core of COP30, insights from evaluative evidence on what is working, what is not, and what has the potential to scale, are vital for informing the way forward.

If you will be at COP30, we invite you to visit the E4CA pavilion and join our in-person events. If you will not be at the COP, we invite you to review the schedule, register for virtual events, and join the discussion on effective climate action.

IEvD is organising two virtual sessions:

  • Tuesday, 11 November 2025 at 10:45am local time / 1:45pm London time: Delivering Sustainability and Climate Resilience through Investments in Urban Environment | Register
  • Thursday, 13 November 2025 at 10:45 local time / 1:45pm London time: Counting Money vs. Counting Impact – Evaluating EBRD's Green Economy | Register
