
Stuart Morrison
Managing Director, Risk Management
Stuart Morrison is the Managing Director, Risk Management, at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He took up this position upon joining the Bank in November 2024. In this role, Stuart leads the Bank’s risk management and control activities, across both primary and consequential risks, encompassing Credit Risk, Market Risk, Treasury Risk, Equity Investment Risk, Climate Risk, Country Risk, Corporate Recovery, in addition to Operational Risk. Prior to joining the EBRD, Stuart held numerous leadership roles in commercial and investment banking since 2002, including Deutsche Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and UBS. Stuart has led global and geographically spread teams across risk disciplines and successfully delivered a host of transformational initiatives. A British national, from the west coast of Scotland, Stuart holds a BA Hons (1st) from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
