Ms Pentamah brings over nine years of experience in climate change finance and strategy, including work at the World Bank, and is strongly committed to advancing human rights and environmental justice. Celina has specific expertise in social integrity in carbon markets, with a focus on ensuring the meaningful inclusion of indigenous peoples and local communities in results-based climate finance.
She holds a master's from the American University’s School of International Service and a bachelor's degree in Global Environmental Policy, with a specialisation in International Environmental Law.
Celina is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Mauritian Creole.
