Rabea Bermad
Rabea Bermad is an Analyst at the EBRD Office of the Chief Economist.
She holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics. Prior to joining the EBRD, Rabea worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Lídia Farré, where she contributed to empirical projects focused on examining the impacts of family and parental-leave policies in Spain using large-scale administrative data.
Her research interests lie in applied microeconomics, with a focus on gender, labour and migration, as well as broader topics in development economics.
At the EBRD, Rabea contributes to the bank's applied academic research initiatives, as well as its flagship publication, the Transition Report.
