Oleg Konovalov

Analyst


Oleg Konovalov is an Analyst at the EBRD Office of the Chief Economist. In this role, he supports the Global Economics team by providing macroeconomic updates and analysis for the Bank’s countries of operations in the Regional Economic Prospects publication.

Oleg holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Higher School of Economics. Prior to joining the EBRD, he served as an economist at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, where he focused on the compilation of the Financial Account.

His research interests include the transmission mechanisms of monetary policy, the relationship between inflation and output dynamics, and broader macroeconomic developments.
