Meng Su

Meng Su is a Principal Economist in the Office of the Chief Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She works in the Global Economics team, focusing on macroeconomic analysis for the Regional Economic Prospects and the Transition Report.

Meng is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She holds an MSc in Economics from LSE and a BEcon & Fin from the University of Hong Kong.

Prior to joining the EBRD, Meng worked at the World Bank. Her research focuses on how policies and institutions shape economic outcomes, with a particular interest in gender inequality, public health policy, law and finance, and sanctions.
