The combined BEEPS V and MENA ES dataset is prepared by the EBRD as a courtesy to the users. It contains 23,132 completed interviews in 41 countries or territories in Eastern Europe and Central Asia and Middle East and North Africa.
BEEPS V and MENA ES follow the Enterprise Surveys methodology and there is a good deal of overlap between the questionnaires used for BEEPS V and MENA ES. An effort has been made to harmonise the variable names whenever possible. The harmonised variables follow the BEEPS V questionnaire.

Notes
The BEEPS V and MENA ES dataset was last updated on 23 August 2017. Compared to the version of 5 October 2015, data for Cyprus and Greece were added, variable a3 was corrected for several cases in Russia and a3b for one case in Armenia and weights were added for West Bank and Gaza.
