2005

The third round of the BEEPS in 2005 covered 9,961 enterprises in 27 countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, FYR Macedonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. It also covered 801 enterprises in two comparator countries, Ireland and Spain.

The 1999 BEEPS dataset was last updated in August 2011. The BEEPS 2005 dataset includes data for Spain and Ireland, where the BEEPS survey was conducted from June to September 2005 and the same questionnaire was used. Where applicable, amounts are specified in thousand USD, except for Ireland and Spain, where they are in thousand EUR.
