Egyptian National Railways Restructuring and Gender Phases I & II
This evaluation is an ex-post assessment of the first EBRD transport project in SEMED with a gender component, approved by the Board in April 2014. It assesses the effectiveness of improving rail services and promoting safer travel for women through gender-based initiatives. It highlights the project's success in enhancing rail services, addressing gender-based violence, and increasing women's mobility and safety.
