Serbian company switches to solar energy with support of the EBRD and EU
The project combines EBRD financing with EU grant incentives to help small and medium-sized enterprises invest in green technologies.
Tira, a Serbian producer of nuts, grains and nut butters, has taken a major step towards greener and more efficient operations by installing a rooftop solar power plant with support from the EBRD and the European Union (EU). The investment is helping the company reduce electricity costs and lower its carbon footprint, while strengthening its competitiveness in EU markets where sustainability is becoming increasingly important. The project was financed through the SME Go Green programme, which combines EBRD financing with EU grant incentives to help small and medium-sized enterprises invest in green technologies.
