EBRD and EU support Egyptian school campaign on water conservation

Author: Dima Hamdallah

“When young people understand the value of water, they become champions for cleaner, more sustainable communities.”

Togetther with the European Union (EU), we are helping young people in Egypt understand why water matters and how they can help protect it.

As part of the Kitchener depollution programme, more than 2,000 students in Gharbeya, Daqahleya and Kafr El Sheikh have taken part in an awareness campaign on water conservation, waste reduction and pollution prevention.

In Kafr El Sheikh, 600 children joined the Nilous Camp Adventures, learning through fun and interactive activities how small actions can make a difference.

Together, we are supporting a cleaner, more sustainable future for communities near the Kitchener drain, because every drop counts.
