Redefining fashion in Mongolia

Author: Altynai Nanaeva

Bodios has adopted eco-friendly production practices, improved working conditions for its employees and enhanced its corporate policies.

Owned by Azzaya Ulziibodijav, who has benefited from both consultancy and mentorship programmes with the EBRD, the company produces modern clothing and accessories from yak wool yet is inspired by nomadic traditions.

“What we really value is having a connection with the yak herders we work with,” Azzaya says.

With support from the European Union and the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), Bodios has adopted eco-friendly production practices, improved working conditions for its employees and enhanced its corporate policies.
