EBRD, EU and GCF join forces to boost water efficiency on a Jordanian farm

Together with the European Union and the Green Climate Fund, and backed by the Green Economy Financing Facility, the EBRD helped Quraan farm in Jordan to invest in sustainable farming methods. By adopting greener irrigation infrastructure, the farm now efficiently waters over 7,000 fruit trees, significantly reducing annual water consumption and boosting productivity. The investment also helped the farm to construct a fishpond with a capacity of 14,000m³ to enhance its fish-farming production.
