EBRD and EU improve solid waste management in Tajikistan
Every day, a dedicated group of workers takes on the crucial task of keeping Tajikistan’s cities clean and liveable.
Often starting before dawn, these unsung heroes work tirelessly to ensure healthier neighbourhoods, greener spaces, and cleaner streets for all. We are proud to support their efforts with the European Union.
These include modernising waste collection with new lorries, introducing reliable waste services, and constructing modern landfills. Together, we’re building a cleaner, greener Tajikistan, one street, one city at a time.
