Improving food security in the Kyrgyz Republic

Agriculture plays a major role in the lives of people in the Kyrgyz Republic, accounting for almost 18% of the country’s labour force and 15% of the GDP. Yet, lack of access to nutritious food still is a problem in Central Asia.

Dan Agro is one of the leading processors, packers and exporters of beans, lentils and chickpeas in Kyrgyzstan, We’re working with the company to improve food security and increase farmers' income levels.
