Russia’s military occupation of Chernobylopens in a new tab has thrown into uncertainty decades of international cooperation in helping make safe the site of the world’s worst nuclear accident.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been at the forefront of remediation work at Chernobyl and is calling on international donors to help repair the damage resulting from Russiaopens in a new tab’s reckless actions.
