Partnering and co-financing with donors are integral to EBRD’s work to improve the lives of people in our countries of operations and to deliver our mandate. Our partnerships are strong and longstanding. The Annual Donor Meeting will be an occasion to take stock of these partnerships in 2021, discuss topical issues and set out some plans for 2022. Naturally, there will be a focus on our work and achievements in the SEMED region.
The Annual Donor Meeting will be opened by EBRD President, Odile Renaud-Basso who will provide updates on the Bank’s response to current events. Our response to the Ukraine crisis will recognise the rapidly evolving environment and uncertainties, and we will jointly discuss how best we can deploy our donor partnerships to support operations, as well as the short and longer-term impacts of the war in Ukraine, across our countries of operations in the region, and beyond.
The agenda promises to set the tone for working more closely as we address the challenges ahead.
