Baltic resilience: investing for the future

The Baltic states – Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania – have emerged as dynamic, resilient economies of northern and eastern Europe, with a strong adaptability driven by innovation, solid fundamentals and agile policy responses. Recent indicators show the Baltic region continuing to outperform many parts of the European Union, maintaining stable growth and a capacity to absorb external pressures. With advanced digital ecosystems, forward-looking regulation, competitive markets and a highly skilled workforce, the region offers an attractive environment for trade, investment and partnership. Foreign investors consistently cite the Baltic region as one of Europe’s most resilient and responsive, characterised by sound macroeconomic management, digital maturity and an enabling business climate. To stay ahead, these countries now need targeted investment to flow into the strategic sectors that will shape the next decade.

This high-level panel brings together Baltic government representatives, EBRD experts and leading private-sector stakeholders to explore how investment in the region can reinforce its economic resilience. It will highlight opportunities – from deeper capital markets and high impact fintech to a stronger innovation ecosystem, energy security and the green transition. This pan-Baltic investment outlook session will provide global business leaders with insights into where capital can generate the greatest long-term impact and help secure the region’s next competitive leap.
