Transforming global value chains through transparency and traceability

In today’s global economy, transparency and traceability are essential to building resilient, ethical and sustainable supply chains. As stakeholders, from consumers to regulators, demand greater visibility over sourcing, production practices and environmental impacts, companies are under increased pressure to provide accurate supply-chain information.

This panel will explore how innovative traceability tools, such as digital product passports, combined with financial instruments, such as sustainable supply-chain finance, can revolutionise sustainability in key sectors, such as agriculture, electronics and fashion, by offering financial and advisory support to companies and their suppliers to enhance the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of their supply chains.

We will hear from policymakers, technology providers, the private sector and financial institutions about their efforts to advance traceability in value chains. They will explore how collaboration can overcome traceability challenges, enabling decarbonisation and sustainability on a large scale.
