Financial sector leads will discuss what it takes for the private sector to fund climate investments in emerging markets and developing countries (EMDCs).
Despite widespread discussions on this topic, perspectives from those structuring and delivering climate investments in EMDCs are often missing. Private-sector involvement is essential to find the US$ 2.4 trillion needed annually by the end of this decade for EMDCs to transition to resilient, low-carbon economies. Addressing this challenge necessitates the development of standardised instruments to facilitate the mobilisation of private finance.
This event will provide investors' insights on mobilising the private sector at scale, with dynamic and provocative discussions and opportunities for delegate contributions.
