Bringing Italian pastries to Serbia

Lana Apolloni bakes cakes and pastries for her clients in the Serbian capital, Belgrade.

Thanks to support from the EBRD Women in Business programme and a loan from Banca Intesa her company Amaretti has turned from a hobby into a successful business.

She is one of more than 2,400 female entrepreneurs in Serbia that have been helped to grow their firms under the Finance and Advice for Women in Business programme spearheaded by the EBRD and funded by Italy, Luxembourg and Sweden.
