Senior role to mobilise private capital for EBRD projects
Christian Kleboth has been appointed EBRD Director, Head of Loan Syndications, reporting to Senior Vice President, Chief Financing and Operating Officer Andras Simor.
In his new position Mr Kleboth will work to mobilise foreign and domestic capital alongside EBRD’s own financing to the currently 38 economies on three continents where the EBRD invests.
He will lead the relationship with existing and potential co-investors and will seek new co-financing structures to continue attracting private capital for EBRD projects.
Previously, Mr Kleboth was EBRD’s Regional Head of Agribusiness for Turkey and Central Asia based in Istanbul.
He joined the EBRD’s Agribusiness team in 2005 and worked with EBRD’s Loan Syndications team between 2012 and early 2018.
An Austrian national, Mr Kleboth holds a Master’s degree from the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences in Dornbirn.
