Propose discussion topics on Twitter and Facebook via #EBRDopen
Here’s your chance to shape our Civil Society Programme, the flagship event of the EBRD’s engagement with civil society held at EBRD’s Annual Meeting on 11-12 May in London this year.
A highlight of this year’s Civil Society Programme will be a Fireside Chat with Sergei Guriev, our new Chief Economist, about ‘25 years of transition –the Role of Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia’.
The programme will also feature a discussion panel on The Role of Civil Society in Public Procurement with speakers from the EBRD regions and international organisations.
We are inviting members of civil society to suggest topics for discussion about EBRD investment projects, policies, and initiatives regarding politics, socio-economics and the environment relevant to the EBRD regions and our operations.
You can propose discussion topics your own via Twitter @EBRD or @EBRDBiljana using the hashtag #EBRDopen by 18 March.
Alternatively, use the EBRD’s Facebook page.
Remember, the topics should be linked to our activity within our regions of operations.
You can also suggest a panel to discuss the contribution of civil society actors to development finance. The panel will be organised and facilitated by CSOs. Find out more about the call for proposal for our Civil Society Programme 2016.
You have until 18 March to propose your panel topic via #EBRDopen.
