EBRD Vice President visits Montenegro

EBRD Vice President Betsy Nelson is visiting Montenegro 19-21 November. During her stay she will meet with Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Luksic; Minister of Finance Radoje Zugic, the Governor of the National Bank, Milojica Dakic; and Vice Governor and Chief Economist of the Central Bank of Montenegro Nikola Fabris to discuss investment opportunities and the EBRD’s current activities in the country.

Ms Nelson will also use her visit to see EBRD business partners of the Bank and meet representatives of the international community. She will be accompanied by Giulio Moreno, Head of the EBRD Resident Office in Podgorica, and Oleg Levitin, EBRD Senior Political Counsellor.

Since the beginning of its operations in Montenegro, the EBRD has committed more than €400 million in approximately 40 projects, generating more than €800 million of investment in the country. EBRD investments cover the whole range of Montenegro’s economic activity.
