The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is convening a high-level Housing Forum to bring together private-sector leaders, investors, senior public officials and practitioners to tackle one of the most urgent challenges in the EBRD regions: housing.

Held on 3 February 2026 at the EBRD Headquarters in London, the Forum will examine how Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltics can rapidly scale the delivery of sustainable, affordable and inclusive homes. Through keynotes, fireside conversations and expert panels, participants will explore the financing tools, delivery models and policies needed to strengthen public–private collaboration and unlock new housing supply.

Speakers will share forward-looking insights on macroeconomic trends, global lessons from affordable housing pioneers, design-led approaches to community-building, and innovative mechanisms for financing and delivering social and affordable housing. Discussions will also highlight pathways to mobilise institutional capital, expand market-based rental solutions and harness capital-markets instruments (such as bonds, covered bonds and REITs) to support long-term investment.

The Housing Forum underscores the EBRD’s commitment to helping cities and governments build resilient housing markets, improve social outcomes and create thriving, sustainable urban communities. It reflects the Bank’s broader mission to mobilise private capital, strengthen access to finance and enhance quality of life across the economies where it invests.

The EBRD Housing Forum (free to attend, by invitation only, registration required) is run as a satellite event to this year’s Global Real Estate - London Summit 2026, organised by Entralon Club. Global RE Summit is a ticketed event focusing on global commercial real estate topics and commercial property trends. Details and tickets: Entralon Club.
