Supporting women in agribusiness

Lola Karataeva is the head of a thriving agricultural production company in the Qibray region of Uzbekistan, employing over 60 people. Her company specialises in producing agricultural machinery, playing a vital role in modernising local farming practices.

With the support of Ipoteka Bank and the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), Lola has expanded her operations and strengthened her digital marketing skills. These efforts have contributed not only to the growth of her business but also to enhancing Uzbekistan's food security by providing local farmers with advanced machinery and solutions.
