The agricultural sector in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco has been working hard to combat various challenges. Not only is it difficult to find an adequate workforce that is available for harvests, but there are difficulties with water scarcity due to climate change.
Morocco Foodex has been busy creating a new quality and sustainability brand, with technical assistance from the FAO and the EBRD, and co-funding from the European Union.
