A senior loan of up to EUR 10 million to Raiffeisen Bank d.d. Bosna i Hercegovina ("RBBH") for on-lending to eligible private individuals for housing purposes.
The proceeds of the loan will be used by RBBH to provide long-term financing for residential mortgage lending in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Transition impact is expected to derive from (i) supporting the growth of the mortgage portfolio in Bosnia and Herzegovina ("BiH"); (ii) reducing the maturity mismatch between assets and liabilities by providing long-term funding while (iii) keeping the loan portfolio quality in check.

RBBH is the second largest bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a market share of 14.8% by total assets. RBBH is headquartered in Sarajevo and provides products and services across entire territory of BiH. RBBH is 99.9951% owned by Raiffeisen SEE Region Holding GmbH which is fully
owned by Raiffesen Bank International ("RBI").

Raiffeisen Bank BiH ("RBBH") is an existing client of the Bank and has been satisfactorily implementing the EBRD's E&S requirements under existing exposures and regularly submits Annual E&S Reports to the Bank. For this transaction RBBH will need to continue to comply with the EBRD's PRs 2, 4 and 9, adopt and implement EBRD's E&S Risk Management Procedures for Mortgage Lending and report annually on E&S matters via the Sustainability Index.
