Provision of a senior loan of up to PLN 200 million to Santander Factoring Sp. z o.o. ("The Company") under the Financial Intermediaries Framework ("Framework").
Santander Factoring Sp. z o.o. will use the proceeds of the loan to provide financing to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises ("MSMEs") in Poland.
Transition impact is expected to derive from improving the access to factoring services for micro and small and medium businesses operating in the regions, which will strengthen their competitiveness.
By ensuring that adequate underwriting and risk management practices are in place, the transaction will encourage sustainable factoring practices, supporting the resilience of the financial system.
SANTANDER FACTORING SP ZOO
Santander Factoring Sp. z o.o. is a subsidiary of Santander Bank Polska S.A. and is the 2nd largest factoring company in Poland with €985 million in assets and €17 million in equity at 31 December 2017. The range of products and services offered by the Company includes recourse and non - recourse factoring, domestic and foreign reverse factoring, bill of exchange discounting and confirming.
