Project Description
The proposed project is a EUR 22.3 million investment in Oisiw which, together with other co-investors in the Fund, is to provide additional co-investment financing alongside Sigma Bleyzer Southeast European Fund IV for capital expenditure to improve telecoms and media infrastructure in Ukraine.
Transition Impact
The project focuses on private sector development in the telecoms and media industry sector, increasing competition, efficiency and delivery of service. An improved product offering and lower prices will be provided for improved electronic communications in the regions.
The Client
The beneficiary company is Oisiw Limited a Cypriot special purpose co-investment vehicle to invest alongside and be managed by Sigma Bleyzer Southeast European Fund IV.
EBRD Finance
EUR 22.3 million equity investment along-side other equity co-investors and limited partners associated with Sigma Bleyzer Southeast European Fund IV.
Project Cost
Up to EUR 200 million.
Environmental Impact
Screened C/1. Environmental due diligence is currently being carried out for the Client while the Project is unlikely to be associated with any significant environmental impacts. The Client will be required to comply with national and EU environmental, health, safety and labour standards and requirements and to submit annual reports on environment, health, safety and labour issues as well as submission of Annual Environmental Report to the Bank.
