GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
VITEBSK REGION CLEAN WATER PROJECT
Unitary Enterprise “Vitebskoblvodokanal” intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “EBRD”) and a grant from EBRD Shareholder Special Fund (the “SSF”) for a project to improve water supply quality in small settlements across the Oblast of Vitebsk with a focus on removing excess iron from ground water. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 15.81 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:
- Project implementation unit support services, including engineering, design and contracts supervision
- Supply and installation of 80 water de-ironing plants
Tendering for the first contract above is expected to begin in the Q2 2019, for the second contract above is expected to begin in the Q4 2019.
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the EBRD loan and EBRD SSF grant will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules Rev. November 2017 (http://www.ebrd.com/work-with-us/procurement/policies-and-rules.html) and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the EBRD loan and EBRD SSF grant will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
