SMART- Sibiu Streets Rehabilitation Project

The City of Sibiu intends using the savings of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for a project to upgrade and refurbish earth streets in the city. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of RON 23.7 million, will require the procurement of rehabilitation works of 39 earth streets as follows:

 Tender Package No 5: Turnisor IV and Gusterita II Areas

out of which:

Lot 1: Rehabilitation of streets in Area Turnisor IV namely: Mozaicului, Varului, Zavoi (section II), Neppendorf, Granitului

Lot 2: Rehabilitation of streets in Area Gusterita II namely: Bradului, Macazului, Viilor

Tender Package No 6 : Turnisor III- Gusterita-Tilisca, Terezian and Tiglari II- Lazaret III Areas

out of which:

Lot 1: Rehabilitation of streets in Area Turnisor III- Gusterita-Tilisca namely:Cucului, Lucernei, Trandafirilor, Agarbiceanu, Dreptatii, Ghiocelului, Cisnadioara, Rovine, Anul 1848, Stejarului, Flacara, Tineretului, 16 Februarie

Lot 2: Rehabilitation of streets in Area Terezian namely: Honterus, Capriorilor, Sperantei, Viorelelor, Pandurilor, Eschile, Lacramioarelor

Lot 3: Rehabilitation of streets in Area Tiglari II- Lazaret III namely:Dulgherilor, Mesteacanului, Hameiului, Garoafei, Maierilor, Baicoi, Topitorilor, Lacului, Primaverii,  Rulmentului, Ovidiu 

Note: The structure of the packages and the street may change as appropriate

 Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2018.

 Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
