The construction sector is one of the largest industrial employers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, women engineers make up only around 10 per cent of the total workforce.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been working with motorway companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina to address these challenges, in particular through the Bank’s financing for the strategic transport artery Corridor Vc.
