Join us at the round table discussion held in London on the back of the Ukraine Reform Conference.
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the country's energy sector has experienced severe attacks. As a result, more than 50 percent of the energy infrastructure was destroyed and equipment at almost all thermal power plants was damaged. The Ukrainian government has announced a "build back better" approach to energy sector recovery, with an emphasis on renewable energy sources and EU integration. However, this will require significant participation from donors and investment of private capital.
Representatives of Ukraine’s government, the European Union, international financial institutions, energy experts and private sector will discuss the following issues:
- What are the prospects for investors in the energy sector of Ukraine and which companies are ready to invest?
- What steps should be taken to improve the business climate in the country?
- How to properly balance the power system in the context of the growth of renewable energy sources and decentralisation?
By bringing together investors, industry leaders, policymakers and experts, we aim to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for sustainable energy investments that will shape Ukraine’s energy future. Together, we can contribute to Ukraine's recovery, support its green transition, and help build a modern energy market fully integrated in Europe.
