Four ensembles from four countries premier a specially commissioned piece at the 2023 EBRD Annual Meeting in Samarkand.
We visited solar power plants in Uzbekistan, women bus drivers in Georgia, a grain terminal in the Slovak Republic and the Suez Canal Economic Zone in Egypt to show our impact on the ground.
Last year that impact included €13 billion invested, with a strong focus on supporting Ukraine and its neighbouring countries, boosting green finance, championing more inclusive economies and promoting digitalisation.
On our travels we met talented musicians in all four of the countries we visited. The original score for our journey was composed by Liam Fuller and performed by students of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.
