The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB) Global and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) are co-organising a Summit “Investing in Digitalisation in the Western Balkans”, taking place on 28 March 2023 in Sarajevo.
The morning half of the event (9.00 – 13.00) will focus on the discussion of successful digitalisation models in the area of soft and hard infrastructure, sharing key success stories of digitalisation in the Western Balkans, and raising awareness of digital initiatives for the private sector in the region.
The afternoon half of the event (14.15 -16.50) is envisaged to bring together Western Balkans ministers, key donors and international financial institutions to coordinate approaches and discuss challenges to digital infrastructure investments and soft digital needs of the region.
