Acting Managing Director, Deputy General Counsel
Ms Alba Bozo has been appointed as Acting Managing Director, Deputy General Counsel for Corporate, Finance and Legal Transition, for an interim period whilst the recruitment for a permanent Managing Director is underway.
Ms Bozo oversees OGC’s work on corporate, institutional and administrative law, the Legal Transition Programme as well as the legal support for the Bank’s treasury operations.
Ms Bozo initially joined the EBRD in 2004 in OGC’s Legal Associates Programme. Before returning to the EBRD in 2015, Ms Bozo worked in the Legal Department of the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C. and as a corporate lawyer in international law firms Fieldfisher and Herbert Smith Freehills. Since 2020, Ms Bozo has successfully led OGC’s practice of institutional, commercial and international administrative law.
An Albanian and British national, Ms Bozo holds a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School.
