Managing Director for the Administrative Services Department
Jaroslaw Wojtylak has been the Managing Director for the Administrative Services Department since 2015 and is responsible for diverse administrative support to the Bank.
In particular, he oversees the planning, developing and implementation of policies and approaches relating to the Bank’s global real estate strategy, workplace strategy, facilities management and corporate support functions such as mail, catering and office supplies services.
Mr Wojtylak also manages the Bank’s global security, health and safety, travel and facilities-related insurances. He is currently leading the Bank’s HQ project, which will culminate in the relocation of EBRD staff to the Bank’s new HQ building in late 2022.
After attaining his M.SC in civil engineering from Cracow University of Technology, Mr Wojtylak worked for several leading private consultancies in Vienna, Austria. In 1988 he joined the United Nations where he worked in various corporate management positions in Austria, Croatia and Italy.
He left the UN to work for the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in the Netherlands, where he was responsible for corporate real estate, facilities management and where he delivered the organisation’s HQ master project.
Later, he joined the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe in Vienna where he headed its real estate and facilities management division. Prior to joining EBRD in 2007 as director of Administration, Mr Wojtylak was head of Technical Services at the European Aviation Safety Agency in Cologne, Germany.
Mr Wojtylak is fluent in English, German and Polish. He is married, with 2 children.
