The EBRD’s Know How Academy offers a free-to-use online learning and advice programme for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

The first course on the Know How Academy is “Know How to...in a Crisis”, a hub where entrepreneurs can receive practical assistance, including training materials and crisis management advice from top industry experts.
Designed to help MSMEs with the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic and other times of crisis, the course has five key modules:
- Crisis Management: Your customers and suppliers
- Crisis Management: Financial management essentials
- Crisis Management: Financing your firm
- Crisis Management: Your staff: your key asset
- Crisis Management: Management and leadership challenges
The second programme is called “Build Back Better”. This has been developed to help your business stay competitive and succeed and will provide essential business skills and tools. It is designed to answer your key questions and spark new ideas on how to drive a business forward.
This course is still expanding and consists of a series of modules, including:
- Assess new export market opportunities
- Go digital with your business
- Sustainable solutions to future-proof your business (available from April 2022)
Modules in both programmes are available in a range of languages including English, Russian, Arabic, Ukrainian, French, Uzbek and Turkish. All modules take only 30 minutes to complete and are free of charge. Certificates of achievement will be issued following module completion.
