The EBRD's SME client from Egypt, Tagaddod, has shown incredible resilience in the face of the Covid-19 crisis. The company has adapted its production to help make hand sanitisers widely available on the Egyptian market. So far, Tagaddod has distributed more than 20,000 bottles all across the country.
Tagaddod has joined the EBRD’s Star Venture programme helping promising start-ups scale and grow into market leaders. The project was funded by the European Union and South Korea through the Small Business Impact Fund (other contributors include: Italy, Japan, Norway, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerland, Taipei China and the USA.)
