IPAM annually prepares a report describing the cases managed during the year and their outcomes. It also summarises outreach activities undertaken, key trends and/or systemic issues that can help the Bank learn from case experience. Do share your ideas, comments, compliments via firstname.lastname@example.org
2022 Annual Report provides an overview of 16 cases managed during the year through problem solving and compliance, activities related to access promotion with CSOs and project affected communities, internal awareness raising sessions with Bank staff and management, and knowledge sharing with peer institutions.
Don’t miss our highlights in the first section of our report describing our first problem solving agreement in Gradadac, completion of two of our compliance investigations and IPAM's panel on remedy at the EBRD's Annual Meeting in Morocco. For those who love numbers, catch them in the section on our case portfolio.
Our 2021 Annual Report provides updates on the 15 active cases in our portfolio, our outreach activities and how we are building the capacity of IPAM to deliver our mandate in a responsive and transparent fashion.
The Independent Project Accountability Mechanism started its operation on 1 July 2020, replacing the Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM). Following the provisions of the Project Accountability Policy (2019), IPAM brings to the EBRD more independent, predictable and transparent processing of environmental and social complaints related to projects funded by the Bank. The 2020 Annual Report provides detailed information on the new model, the 19 cases managed by IPAM in its first year and the activities undertaken to promote access and transparency.
We invite you to read this first report and look forward to continued engagement.
