Bringing new business skills to Syrian refugees in Jordan

107 Syrian widows and their children live at Homs League Abroad an NGO based in Amman, Jordan.

With the help of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union (EU) we’ve helped these women make a better living for their families through providing them with training opportunities. Two local producers, Bil Foron – a food mobile application and Fashionway – a garment factory have trained women in this organisation, gave them a sense of purpose as impactful females in their society and as breadwinners in their children’s eyes.
