The EBRD was accredited by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Board in July 2015. Since then, the Bank has developed several projects and programmes contributing to the GCF’s objective of driving paradigm shifts and transformational change towards low-emission and climate-resilient economic and development pathways.

EBRD’s accreditation became effective on 11 May 2017. The seven EBRD Funded Activities approved by GCF Board, for a total GCF contribution over USD 1 billion, are under active implementation.
